Shooting victim suffers life threatening injuries

Rapid City Police are investigating a Tuesday night shooting that has left a male victim with serious life threatening injuries. Shortly after 8:00 pm Tuesday night, police received a report of a male that had just been shot. The person reporting the shooting was inside a vehicle which was taking the victim to Rapid City Regional Hospital where Police then made contact with the occupants and learned the shooting took place in an alleyway behind the 700 block of Blaine Avenue. Authorities are continuing their investigation.
