Deadwood saw gaming numbers dip slightly again in July. The latest report from the state gaming commission shows gamblers wagered 1.21 percent less than a year ago. For the year, Deadwood trails last years pace by just over 1.5 percent. In July, table games saw a 2 percent increase from a year ago while slot play was down 1.4 percent. And while hotel occupancy was nearly identical to last year, July numbers were slightly ahead of the national average.
