Sharp increase in Wheat production expected

Officials are anticipating a substantial increase in wheat production as compared to a year ago. The Department of Agriculture estimates winter wheat production will increase by 83 percent from 2017. They expect both acres and average yield to be higher. Spring wheat production is also projected to double to about 41.8 million bushels.
