Eagle Country Sports is proud to welcome veteran play-by-play announcer Steve Ammerman to the microphone. Steve started his career in radio as a teenage Sports Director in Winner, SD. He has also worked in Grand Island, NE, Mitchell SD and Rapid City before landing at The Eagle. Besides broadcasting sports, Steve is also a "huge" fan and has enjoyed coaching his son's sports teams. He loves living in the Black Hills where he has a chance to go "Hack" around at all the great golf courses..
