A 1-year-old infant has died from injuries sustained in Friday’s crash in Rapid City that also seriously injured two adults. Police say the victims’ names are withheld pending notification of families. The crash happened Friday afternoon at the intersection of East Boulevard and East New York Street. The driver of a Pontiac Grand Prix was trying to turn onto East New York Street when the car was hit by a Pontiac Bonneville coming from the other direction. The infant and injured people were in the Grand Prix. Police initially arrested a Rapid City man they believed had run from the scene of the crash but the investigation showed he was not involved. The search for the hit and run driver continues.
