The Black Hills State University women’s triathlon team has announced its schedule for the 2018 fall season.

The Yellow Jackets open the new season with the South Dakota Triathlon Invitational on September 9. The competition, to be held at the Belle Fourche Reservoir, and is the first triathlon hosted by BHSU since the sport was added.

The Green and Gold then travel to the West Region Qualifier in Longmont, Colorado, on September 23.

The East Region Qualifier, held in Huddleston, Virginia, will take place on October 20.

The Yellow Jackets travel to Hurricane, Utah, on October 27, for the Southern Utah Triathlon.

BHSU will wrap up the season at the NCAA Collegiate National Championships. The competition, held in Tempe, Arizona, will take place on November 4.

The Yellow Jackets will look to continue their success this year. Last year, the Green and Gold finished second in Division II at the NCAA Championships, with Mathilde Bernard earning All-American and Freshman of the Year honors.
