The Canyon Lake All Stars claimed the South Dakota State Little League Championship. Canyon Lake downed the I-90 All Stars 4-1 and will meet Fargo for a chance to advance to the Midwest Regional Tournament in Indianapolis.

 

Spearfish Post 164 will meet Dakota Valley in opening round play of the State Class B American Legion Baseball Tournament in Redfield on Friday. The tournament runs Friday through Tuesday.

 

Sanford Health has announced the East vs West Mens Division II Basketball Challenge. The event will take place at the Sanford Pentagon November 16 and 17 and feature Northern State and Augustana representing the Northern Sun Conference and Black Hills State representing the RMAC. The event will be held at the Young Center in Spearfish in 2019.
